A weight per meter controller can be built into the extruder cabinet or into a separate box.
The basic components of weight per meter control are:
- Weigh hopper
- GraviMaster 2704
- incremental encoder with measuring wheel
- f/U- converter
Line speed gauge
Features
Line speed can be measured in different ways like:
- measuring wheel with encoder mounted with a spring lever after cooling (see picture on left side)
- encoder at the roll of the haul-off
- any other speed indication with an output of 0 ... 10V
