The PLC Siemens Simatic S7-1200 is suited for different application in extrusion. Because in many extrusion application I/O is limited but nevertheless the process requires a powerful software S7-1200 that can be implemented for isolated functions as:
- Co-extrusion control
- Dosing and blending
- Extruder temperature control
A special feature is Modbus communication via RS485/422 to integrate peripheral hardware and functions quick and easy.

GraviSys offers a special application for blown film and pipe extrusion control.
The processing functions implemented are:
